Fareed Amin
BOARD CHAIR

With over 30 years of distinguished service in the public sector, Fareed has held progressively responsible positions in the Government of Ontario including Deputy Minister for a number of ministries, including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Fareed also served as Deputy City Manager at the City of Toronto, where he was instrumental in implementing a number of transformation initiatives to improve customer service delivery. Fareed currently leads the Diversity and Inclusion Practice and Chairs the Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Board at Phelps Group.

Fareed joins the TSHC having served as Chair of the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors at Seneca college. He is a member of the Board of Directors at MEPCO and the Canada Guyana Chamber of Commerce.
