I am very pleased to share that Jonathan Dixon is the new permanent Director of Finance. Jonathan will be starting on October 5, 2026.
Jonathan brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in municipal government, public administration, finance, and strategic planning. He most recently served as Director, Business Services, for the Social Services Department at the Region of Durham, where he oversaw a complex portfolio supporting housing, long-term care, employment services, and emergency social services. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Western University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA).
Jonathan is widely respected as a thoughtful, collaborative leader who builds strong relationships and earns trust through his professionalism, sound judgment, and ability to bring people together. Beyond his professional experience, Jonathan is actively involved in his community through volunteer board leadership, mentoring future CPA professionals, and coaching youth baseball and softball.
As we welcome Jonathan, I also want to sincerely thank Vince Truong, who will continue in his role as Controller, for his leadership and commitment over the past four years. In addition to his responsibilities as Controller, Vince has taken on the added responsibilities of leading the Finance function during a period of organizational growth and change. His expertise, dedication, and steady leadership have helped build a strong financial foundation for TSHC, and we are grateful for his contributions and continued support.
