Interim Strategic Directions

The Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation’s (TSHC) Interim Strategic Directions, Key Performance Indicators and Roadmap were finalized at the August 3, 2023, TSHC Board meeting, which outline the key initiatives, milestones, and measures that will guide us towards achieving our goals.

Collaboration and engagement were vital to development of the Interim Strategic Directions. We value the contributions from all stakeholders, including tenant representatives, the Senior Tenants Advisory Committee, employees, and partners. Information was also gathered from various reports and other forms of feedback from tenant and partner organizations.

The Roadmap translates the Interim Strategic Directions into a plan for delivery. We will track and measure our progress using Key Performance Indicators linked to the Interim Strategic Directions.

Key Performance Indicator Dashboard

The Key Performance Indicator Dashboard is similar to a report card for the organization. The Dashboard takes information from different sources and combines it to provide a single view of our performance against our Interim Strategic Directions. The Dashboard includes measures that support our four Strategic Objectives and two Enablers. This allows us to track our progress, identify trends and make improvements across the organization.

Q. When were the Interim Strategic Directions approved?

On April 27, 2023, TSHC’s Board of Directors approved the content and draft Interim Strategic Directions, Key Performance Indicators and a Roadmap to guide activities over the next year and a half. Since Board approval, we have updated the document to be more readable and accessible and have updated the Roadmap of actions.

The Interim Strategic Directions outline the key initiatives, milestones and measures that will guide our progress over the next year and a half.

The Roadmap translates the Interim Strategic Directions into a plan for delivery. We will monitor and measure our progress using Key Performance Indicators linked to the Interim Strategic Directions.
