Hello everyone,
As we move through winter together, I want to take a moment to connect with tenants across all Toronto Seniors Housing communities.
We ended 2025 on a positive note by coming together to celebrate the winter holidays in buildings across the city. These gatherings were made possible by the dedication of tenant volunteers. Their hard work and thoughtful planning created moments of joy, connection, and community—and I want to sincerely thank them.
This season, many of the stories and reflections you’ll see in Seniors Speak focus on belonging. Tenants share what it means to be part of their building community and how staying connected supports their well-being. These stories reflect what we hear across TSHC: that community matters.
This time of year also gives us the chance to recognize important dates that reflect the diversity of the people who live in our buildings. We mark Black History Month in February, Lunar New Year on February 17, and International Women’s Day on March 8, among others. You can learn more about these moments of significance in this edition of Seniors Speak.
I also want to thank everyone who participated in our second Tenant Experience Survey, which was mailed to all tenants late last year. Your feedback is important. Our teams are reviewing the results and will use what you shared to focus on the areas that matter most to you.
To everyone in our communities, I wish you a safe, healthy winter.
Thank you.
