Maureen Clohessy
TENANT DIRECTOR

Maureen Clohessy is a dynamic tenant leader. She was a member of the Senior Tenants Advisory Committee (STAC) from when it was founded in late 2020 until she assumed her current role as a Tenant Director for Toronto Seniors Housing. She has also been a strong leader in her building, wearing many hats over the years, including as elected leader of the Tenants’ Association. Maureen has an extensive background in social work, including case management, mental health and addictions, and running a concurrent disorders program. She is a strong believer in social justice, climate change and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) issues.
